Timber Quilt
This quilt was given to Timber's foster mom.
Timber was known as Keegan in foster care. Here's a note from her

The quilt is beautiful. So moving to look at the love and emotion put into each square. Elaine and hubby John brought it to me Saturday. They are the sweetest couple you'll ever meet. And they loved my barkin' boys. I did not cry when Elaine presented the quilt, but did today when someone asked me how it went, and I started to describe Kathy B's square with beaded pouch to place some of Keegan's fur in...

My friend Janet cross-stitched the square with the blue basketball, Keegan's FAVORITE toy. Another square has Rocky and Grommy's fur braided into a heart. Thanks Pam for my tribute to my precious boy. Makes everyone cry. Every square is so special - the pawprints on Catherine's, the photos embedded into Marsha's, another pouch for Keegan's Keepsakes and the bordered candle on Susan's, the crocheted heart on Helen's, the giant K on Corinne's (we used to call him "Special K" when we didn't want him to know we were referring to him) and the ribbon square to hang his collar, the note written by Rocky and "Me Too" Grommy, the heart fabric "Remember me when this you see" on Heather's, and the special hearts on Charmaine's and Vonnie's, and of course, Elaine's hearts within hearts, not to mention stitching it all together. I am awed. Thank-you again for loving my boy, too.
